Course Overview

ETL, which stands for Extract-Transform-Load, is the process of loading data from the source system to the data warehouse. An ETL tool derives the data from all the heterogeneous data sources, transforms it, and loads it into a data warehouse. Learning ETL testing is advantageous to software testing professionals who perform data analysis to extract relevant information from a database. The main objective of ETL testing is to ensure the data loaded from a source to the destination after business transformation is accurate. The increasing demand for ETL tools such as IBM Infosphere DataStage, Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle Data Integrator, and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services shows that the future of ETL is bright and promising.

ETL Testing online training is designed to teach participants different phases of ETL testing process, including business and requirement understanding, test planning, preparing test data, test execution, result analysis, and test closure, and different types of ETL testing, like production validation testing, metadata testing, data accuracy testing, etc. Upon successful completion of the program, participants become proficient in creating ETL test scenarios and test cases, identifying different types of ETL bugs, testing ETL software, etc.
