Salesforce® Developer Certification examination has undergone changes of late, and previous exam such as Salesforce® Dev 401 no longer exists. Platform App Builder and Salesforce® Certified Platform Developer I are certification exams that would be considered in its place. Unlike Salesforce® Dev 401 or Force.com Developer exam, Platform App Builder examination focuses on building robust and customized applications on Force.com platform.
